The IGI/SED-TVET-project advises the Indonesian Ministry of Education and other partners in building a network of private and public institutes offering modern and innovative vocational education and training programs. AMC supported GIZ IGI/SED-TVET in strengthening the capacity of institutes by delivering training, Workshops, and consultancy on strategic management by using Balanced Scorecard approach to establish strategies towards main objectives including preparing the vocational schools to become international standard school (SBI).

Online Course for Skills Development of Technicians of Wastewater Treatment Plants

The objective of the consultancy services was to develop an online e-learning course for skills development of the technicians of the wastewater treatment plants (ETPs, CETPs).

The e-learning course included required resource materials such as videos, presentations, handbooks etc. The course included self-assessment tests and a tool kit with drag and drop cards on treatment units.

The online course is in line with SCGJ requirements. The Training Handbook published by SCGJ was used for developing the e-learning course including the topics of types of wastewaters, wastewater treatment systems and components of treatment plant, conveyance systems, recycle/reuse/ZLD systems, monitoring systems, operation and management, work safety etc.

• International best practices of online courses have been taken into consideration for the concept for the proposed online e-learning course in India.
• The online course has been designed to fulfil the certification requirements by the Skills Council for Green Jobs (SCGJ) of the National Skills Development Corporation (NSDC).

Assessing Polytechnic Readiness for Delivering TVET 4.0.

Tourism and manufacturing sector are selected as a focus of ISED project. In the manufacturing industry is a need for 4.0 technology. However, this need does not only come from the industry, but there are also demands from the market. Technology adaptation will significantly increase the manufacturing sector’s competitiveness, efficiency, and agility to compete. Activities performed in this project are:

• Development of tool to assess the readiness of polytechnics in preparing human resources according to the need of industry 4.0
• Assess Polytechnics by using an assessment tool, about polytechnics readiness in preparing human resource according to the need of industry 4.0
• Canvassing new potential companies to become ISED project partner

Skill 4 Competitiveness (S4C) Project

S4C is designed to contribute to an improved quality of the overall Poly system in Indonesia by strengthening of Polytechnic institutes (Polys) and by improving structures and services between Polys and industry (Private Sector Cooperation, PSC).

AMC assignment is to advise and assist the S4C team in the conceptualization of a PSC concept frame for the Polytechnics supported by the project, support the clarification within the team and in the Polys, and support the development of a PSC concept serving both, the Polys, and the Private Sector.

Study on Employment Opportunity in the Food and Beverage Sector

The project ‘Innovation and Investment for Inclusive Sustainable Economic Development’ (ISED) aims to strengthen the capacity of private and public actors for promoting inclusive and sustainable employment in close collaboration with the National Development Planning Agency (BAPPENAS).

The main objectives of the assignment include:

1. Preparing, initializing, and facilitating dialogue and coordination with selected F&B selected companies
2. To screen the market of training offered and the training providers
3. Conducting Employment Projection on Food Manufacturing/ Industry and supporting the selection of the right sub-sector to be selected by ISED

Polytechnic Education Development Project (PEDP)

AMC implements the project together with Maxwell Stamp Ltd. The project’s goal is to support the strengthening of the polytechnic system, the Government and ADB have agreed to initiate a project named the Polytechnic Education Development Project (PEDP). The purpose of consultancy assignment is to strengthen the institutional and technical capacity of six selected polytechnics and support their targets in becoming a Center of Technology in the five priority sectors.

Develop Desktop Application for SED TVET Products

The organization of technical and vocational education and training (TVET) and effectiveness are very much dependent on the cooperation with Industry sector. The Cooperation is aiming at developing work skills of TVET Learners as well as reducing the gaps existing between TVET Institutes and real word of work.

Transformasi I – Strengthening the Training System for sub-national Financial Management, Indonesia

AMC, in cooperation with Particip, supported the project Transform’s – Strengthening the Training System for sub-national Financial Management, Indonesia” which is performed by the German international cooperation agency GIZ. The project shall ensure that a competent apparatus for better quality of public financial management has been accomplished by:

Follow-up on the sub-national financial management training system by providing e-learning and update of modules.

Training on sub-national financial management linked with career path development and administrative reforms.

To further strengthen the training system for sub-national financial management in Indonesia by:

 Establishing an institutionalized fully fledged training system and by improving capacity within DJPK and among the training providers to implement the training system.
