Development of quality management system and implementation of internal certification system for BORDA partners in Indonesia

BORDA conducts a program for decentralized wastewater treatment plants in Indonesia in cooperation with local Partners. To ensure the quality of the products BORDA is aiming for a comprehensive certification system for

• the quality management system of their partners,
• the wastewater treatment plants (product label)
• the key people working with their partners.

AMC has supported BORDA to develop a basic quality management system for their partners based on procedures, work instructions, form sheets, recording and evaluation, corrective action, and preventive action.
Criteria for the installation have been developed for the product label and competencies for the key personal. Criteria have been established for verifying implementation including auditing of the management system and installations.
